Motor Vehicles - Off-Road Vehicles

  • Where do I go for any Off-Road Vehicle questions such as (not limited to):

            a.  Why would I need a Restricted Plate and an Off-Rd (Parks and Recreation) sticker for my off-road vehicle?

Per Title 49, Chapter 4 of Idaho Code and State Tax Commission Regulation #445, ALL RECREATION VEHICLES require a license and R.V. sticker to be purchased YEARLY.

Classifications for recreation vehicles are as follows (but not limited to):

  • Bumper Bull Camper Trailers
  • Teardrop Trailers
  • Pop-Up Camper Tailers
  • Pop-Up Tent Trailers

  • Motorcycle Tent/Camp Trailers
